Why Volunteer?
You can play a key role in recognizing and encouraging the next generation of technologists and their mentors!
- Reviewing is not only rewarding, but also convenient. Volunteer application reviewers complete application reviews at their own pace, and spend an average of three hours reviewing. Review whenever you have a free moment—at lunch, after work, anytime.
- Reviewing contributes towards required corporate volunteer hours. (Check with your company to see if being a volunteer application reviewer qualifies as required corporate volunteer hours.)
- Recognitions: AiC will provide a certificate of volunteerism for each reviewer who completes 20 or more reviews. The certificate will state the number of reviews completed and can be used to document service efforts with one’s employer.
